The solution offers a simple way to adjust the permissions of libraries. A new button on every document library opens a dialog in which the permissions can be changed. The focus was deliberately placed on reducing complexity. First, the library’s permission inheritance can be broken so that permissions are no longer inherited. Then people, SharePoint groups and AD groups can be selected and granted read or write access. Once permissions have been added, they can be easily adjusted or removed by simply clicking on the person concerned.
